Fabergé Eggs Forum - Introduction
From time to time I receive very interesting emails from visitors to this website, with questions and remarks about the Imperial Easter Eggs. Those of you who follow the "News" will have noticed that together with a Danish visitor, some interesting discoveries about the miniatures of the Danish Palaces Egg were made.
Other Fabergé enthusiasts have reacted to my research on the Egg timeline, and have asked questions about this research, that might interest other visitors too. Therefore I am now introducing this Fabergé Eggs Forum.
It is my firm believe that we, Fabergé enthusiasts, are a very interesting group of people. We have access to internet, and by using modern technology, like the web translation features, we speak many languages and can reach a worldwide audience. Most of us dream of the missing eggs being found, and want nothing more than to discover new information about these missing eggs, or the missing miniatures. Together we might make a difference.
So, here we go, a new forum is born to post questions and meet each other!
You can send your questions and remarks by using the "Contact" link at the top of this page. If you would like your question to be put on the forum, tell me so, and I will determine if it is something of interest to everyone. If you want to tell about yourself, where you live, and how you got interested in Fabergé, please do!
The Rules:
Fabergé made eggs of many sizes, but only the eggs featured on this website are subject to discussion.
Debated Eggs are taboo. Most of us know some eggs are under discussion by Fabergé scholars, but as enthusiasts we stay away from this ongoing discussion. Only exception is "a find" that raises a debated egg out of this category. We want to make friends, not enemies.
These are the categories to post:
- The Eggs - General questions on all Imperial Eggs, Eggs of Imperial quality and Kelch Eggs (see Categories)
- Individual Eggs - Questions and more about a specific Egg
- The Egg Timeline
- Your photo's - Fabergé Eggs in museums and on exhibitions
Looking forward to your questions and what else you want to share with the Fabergé world.
Thank you all for visiting this website in the years past and the many, many nice emails you sent me!
May the new year be a good year to you all!
