My Fabergé friend Stephan who lives in Sweden, travelled to Monaco to see "Moscow: Splendors of the Romanovs", where 7 Imperial Eggs were exhibited, together with many, many other items. On view were the Coronation Egg, the First Hen Egg, the Renaissance Egg, the 15th Anniversary Egg, the Order of Saint George Egg, the Lilies of the Valley Egg, and the Blue Serpent Clock Egg being at home in Monaco, in it´s own glass display.
Stephan made some photos of the Grimaldi Forum Museum and gave me permission to post those photos here. Taking photos inside the museum was unfortunately not allowed, but wait, Stephan did the impossible and managed to give us an impression of how the eggs looked like on this exhibition!
Stephan, a big thank you!!

Photos inside the museum made under very difficult conditions,
to say the least ...
The exhibition rooms were completely dark
with only the Eggs in a spotlight ...
The 1885 First Hen Egg

The 1894 Renaissance Egg
The 1897 Coronation Egg

The 1898 Lilies of the Valley Egg
The Blue Serpent Clock Egg was too heavily guarded, as were the 15th Anniversary Egg and the Order of Saint George Egg...
